The Pacific Beach Library was designed to resemble the shape of a nautilus shell, and the shell motif is used throughout the building.
The Community Room/Gallery is home to rotating art exhibits organized by the Visual Arts Program, as well as host to a range of events including concerts, community meetings, educational programs, and the Friends' Rummage Sale in the Spring.
Play equipment in the Taylor Greene park adjacent to the library echoes the shell motif of the Pacific Beach Library.
The Taylor Greene is a comfortable spot where readers can lounge, either before or after a visit to the Library. |
