![]() Free Youth Programs
The Pacific Beach/Taylor Library offers programs that are fun and informative for all ages, from babies through teens. Our Youth Programs include multiple weekly storytimes, visits by talented entertainers, and the annual Summer Reading Program, where babies, kids, and teens can earn prizes by reading books or having books read to them. Families with young children can choose to attend evening or morning storytimes in the Children's Area and participate in craft activities each week. On a monthly basis, families with very little ones can sing and sign stories in a special storytime for pre-verbal babies, and young readers can practice their newly acquired literacy skills by reading aloud to certified therapy dogs in our Wagging Tales program. The general schedule for youth programs is presented below; however, patrons are encouraged to check the schedule of events on the home page of this website for exceptions to the schedule:
In addition to these ongoing youth programs, the Pacific Beach Library schedules several special events throughout the year. Please send email to our Youth Services Librarian via our Contact Us web page (==> Click Here <==) if you are a teacher who would like to bring your class to visit the Library. ![]() |
